How To: Build Event Ticket pages

New Tickets can be added by clicking the navy blue ‘+ Add' button on the top left.

  • A name and description and price can be provided for each ticket type

  • Administrators have the option to enter the maximum amount tickets that is available for each ticket type in the ‘Capacity’ field. This is particularly useful for functions, workshops and tours that have limited capacity. If there is no restriction on the amount of tickets, “0” should be entered in the ‘Capacity’ field.

  • Administrators have the option to enter start and end dates for a time a ticket can be purchased. This is particularly useful for (super) early bird tickets.

  • Administrators have the option to enter a unique code for each ticket in the ‘Ticket code’ field. This is just for internal reference or for integrations with finance systems.

  • Administrators have the option to display or hide ticket types for different attendee categories. Attendee categories are created in the ‘Attendee groups’ step, but the display logic is set up in the ‘Registration types’, ‘Function tickets’, ‘Workshop tickets’ and ‘Tour tickets’ steps of the registration form build.

Tickets can be clones, edited or deleted.

Discounts codes that have been created in the ‘Discount code’ step can be applied to different ticket types by clicking the orange ‘Edit next to the Discounts under each ticket created in the ‘Ticket’ steps.

The different discount codes can be toggled on or off. Either discount percentages or fixed discount amounts can be set up for each ticket type Administrators can then enter the discount amount here too. On the registrant side the ticket price is automatically adjusted for the discount code provided; and a label ‘Discount applied’ appears for this ticket as well.
