How To: Form Logic

evexus' registration management module facilitates two types of form logic: display logic and validation logic.

• Display Logic. Administrators can apply Display Logic to the registration form for Attendee Groups. Creation of attendee categories therefore enables Administrators to only display the registration pages, questions and tickets for individual attendees groups. For example: in-person functions and tour tickets can be hidden from the registration form for registrants that indicate that they want to attend the event virtually. Attendee categories are created in the ‘Attendee categories’ step. The display logic can then be set up in the ‘Registration types’, ‘Function tickets’, ‘Workshop tickets’ and ‘Tour tickets’ steps of the registration form build.

• Validation Logic. Administrators can apply Validation Logic to the registration form for Discounts. Discount codes including validation (through ID file upload and/or ID info) are created in the ‘Discount codes’ step. The discounted prices for the created Discount Codes can then be applied in the ‘Registration types’, ‘Function tickets’, ‘Workshop tickets’ and ‘Tour tickets’ steps of the registration form build.
