Description

The devising or choosing of names for things, especially in a science or other discipline.

Event Organisers can choose what they’d like particular terms that appear across the platform to be labelled as. For example, “Program” instead of “Agenda”, or “Speaker” instead of “Presenter”.

Instructions

There are 2 places where Nomenclature can be changed/updated:

  • Global Setup > Tenant

  • Global Setup > Event

Tenant

Access the functionality via "Global Setup" and "Tenants" which is found via the black navigational bar on the left-hand side of the platform.

Click the blue edit pencil, and scroll down to “Tenant Nomenclature”.

The terms you can input alternative labels for are as follows;

Event

Access the functionality via "Global Setup" and "Events" which is found via the via the black navigational bar on the left-hand side of the platform.

Under Events, click the blue edit pencil, and scroll down to “Event Nomenclature”.

Please note regarding Nomenclature & Page Headers, you will still need to change the Page Headers to reflect your updated Nomenclature as this does not update when you update in the Tenant or Event, see "How To: Page Headers" for further instructions. 

Outcome

Updated Nomenclature to reflect Tenant & Event language.
