Overview

Interests in Evexus the evexus event website/platform are a primary method of providing contextual information to Delegates, Exhibitors and Sponsors. This functionality allows for a more personalised User experience user experiences by recommending content relevant to their Interests.

Delegates, Exhibitors and Sponsors can select their Interests, by editing their User Profiles via

My Account> Edit Profile> Account --> Edit Profile --> Set Interests.

• Created a Tenant

• Created an Event

• Created at least one Interest Category

1. Within the Admin Tools Dashboard, navigate to 'Global Setup' the “Events” module and then 'Events' via the blue charcoal navigational bar on the left-hand side.

2. Click the pink toggle 'Event Features' button to access the Event Features page.

3. Scroll down to 'My Network & Following Feature' and select Enabled.

4. Scroll down to black ‘Actions’ button and select ‘Event Features’ from the dropdown.

5. Find (CTRL+F/Command+F) the 'Enable User Recommendations' feature and select Enabled.

6. Then scroll down and click 'Submit'.

2. Go to the ‘Interest Categories’ tab on the top

3. Click 'Create Interest Category'.

4. Within the 'Name' field, input a name for the Interest Category.

5. Optional: Provide the Exhibitor/Sponsor Name and Description

6. Optional: Select a colour Provide an Interest Category Colour to assign to this Interest Category.

7. Optional: Select an icon to assign to this Interest Category.

8. Within the 'Available To' field, select Users, Exhibitors and/or Sponsors.

9. Click 'Submit' or 'Save and Add Another'.

7. Optional: Select an icon to assign to this Interest.

8. Within the 'Choose Interest Categories' field, select the Interest Category this Interest falls within.

9. Click 'Submit' or 'Save and Add Another'.
